Conclusions Carajfis ore is a high grade manganese ore composed of a mixture of lithiophorite, todorokite, cryptomelane and nsutite, as compared to other oxide ores that contain mainly pyrolusite. The results of the present study indicate that this ore is a suitable raw material for the manufacture of manganous sulphate and other manganese containing compounds.
